This event is part of our reoccurring Kundalini Art and Yoga Workshop that happens on the last Saturday of each month. In this workshop, you will be creating and envisioning through paint while also practicing yoga and meditation. No experience necessary. Materials are provided but it is recommended you bring a journal (A 9x12 spiral bound watercolor art pad is a good choice)
“How do you see this tree? Is it green? Don’t be afraid to paint it as green as possible. If you see a tree as blue then make it blue.” -Paul Gauguin
How fascinating to think that when we take a walk in nature, not only do mountains, clouds, trees and streams surround us but they fill us as breath, fragrance, color, moving rhythms, bones, heart beats, songs, and stillness. What if remembering ourselves as nature is a doorway to experiencing our essential truth and happiness? What if we could learn to dialogue with these landscapes? What would they reveal? How would they makes us feel? Could they speak about untouched paths towards better health, peace and joy?
Together, we will breathe a little deeper, relax our bodies, soothe our minds and dive into the creative flow with paint and brushes, to connect, to sense and to imagine untethered shores of possibilities…
Hope to see you on the mat!
